Jesus always led by example so it makes sense that he would do so with baptism as well.

I take great comfort in the fact that I am a child of God and when I am with other believers serving a need, I feel proud to be a member of God’s family! But when people claiming to be Christians refuse to love their neighbor, that is when I feel sad that so many Christians don’t seem to understand how important love is! It is how the world is supposed to be able to identify us as being God’s children! Way too many Christians have forgotten that!
