When I need encouragement

A short meditation when you need encouragement to face the day.

You are loved more than you can possibly imagine.
There is no-one in the world like you.
You are unique and precious.

God knows you more than you know yourself;
for you are fearfully and wonderfully made,
and God has numbered every hair on your head.

Right now, the Father is with you;
championing you, praising you, and hoping for you.
He feels everything you feel
and thinks everything you think.
He laughs when you laugh,
and cries when you cry.
You are not alone.

The Spirit of the Father and of Jesus is with you.
The Spirit of the Father and of Jesus is in you.
The Spirit has breathed life into you.
The Spirit will lead and guide you.
The Spirit will hold and comfort you.
You are not alone.

Whatever you face this day or night,
God will equip you.
The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
will hold you in the palm of their hand
and will never let you go.

Whatever has passed has passed
and your future lies open before you.
You are on the cutting edge of history,
‘His story’ β€” God’s unfolding story in the world,
and you have a part to play.

You are not forgotten.
Every moment of your life matters.
You matter and God loves every part of you.

Whatever trials you face,
God has got your back and will give you strength.
Go into the next hours of your life
excited about the possibilities
of what God has in store for you.
Moments of magic and encounters of wonder,
for God can be found in both the ordinary and mundane.

God is going ahead of you,
and is behind you, beside you, and in you.
Your story is not yet written,
and today you will turn another page.
God’s light will break through
and be seen in the smallest of things,
and in that moment you will know that you are held
and part of something much bigger and better,
and God’s peace and joy will flow through you,
and you will have life in all its fullness.

Hear God’s voice to you:
“My dear Child. I have got you.”
The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit have got you,
and they will never let you go.

Go, surrounded, enveloped, and embraced in God’s love.
This is your moment.
This is your time.
This is your day.
Be the very best version of yourself,
the person that God created you to be.
Wonderfully diverse.
Wonderfully creative.
Wonderfully made.

β€œFor I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord,
“plans to prosper you and not to harm you,
plans to give you hope and a future.”

“My dear child, do not fear, for I am with you;
though you may be discouraged,
take heart for I am your God.
I will strengthen you.
I will help you.
I will uphold you.
And I will never let you go.”

Be reminded that even in the midst of life’s difficulties
God has a plan for you and longs to give you hope.
Be reassured that God is always watching over you,
ready to guide you in the right direction.

Every morning brings new mercies
and today is a chance to start anew.
Every hour and every minute
is a blank canvas on which to paint
a beautiful picture of faith, hope, and love.

Therefore, go, beloved child of God.
Go, and be.

I fell upon this again this morning , having forgotten all about it. What a beautiful and uplifting meditation. It is so easy to feel forgotten , alone and adrift. Every word of this prayer meditation resonates right now .

May you do a recording of this? So that I can play it throughout the day?
And may you write some music to create a song?
(Always looking for something for you to do! πŸ˜€ )
