When I Survey the Wondrous Cross

This week, as my own expression of worship, I recorded and produced a version of this classic hymn.
A picture of a person sitting on a couch in a small living room from their point of view. Their feet are up on a padded footstool on which a fluffy terrier sits. The person is holding an old Casio keyboard and there is a record player on a stand, giving the scene a distinctly retro vibe!

This week, as my own expression of worship, I recorded and produced a version of this classic hymn. I produced the backing track, wrote the harmonies, and recorded the choir singing their parts. I then recorded myself singing the lead.

I love the words of this hymn which is a heartfelt prayer and affirmation of faith and trust in Jesus Christ.
