The Jesus Prayer

Holy God,
Sacred and Supreme,
without beginning nor end;
You are Sovereign
over all you have made;
the seen and the unseen,
the visible and the invisible.
May all creation
be humbled to your
divine will and purpose.
May we have enough for each day
that we do not become complacent,
nor be forced to beg or steal.
When we put ourselves first,
at the expense of others,
please forgive us;
And when others miss the mark
may we be quick to
extend your grace and mercy.
May we follow paths that
lead away from death
and towards a life found in you.
Through the redeeming love of Christ
And the power of your Holy Spirit;
This day and forever,
Amen.
