Community Promises
Members of FAB Church make these Community Promises.
As far as I am able, and without putting myself in harm’s way, I will try my best to do the following:
- Worship only God and centre my life around Jesus Christ.
- Be open to the Holy Spirit filling me and working in and through me.
- Be a voice for the marginalised, especially those who feel isolated because of their ability, race, age, gender, or sexuality.
- Be inclusive and affirming of all — including those in committed same gender, same sex, or ethically non-monogamous relationships.
- Cherish God’s creation and live sustainably.
- Engage with the weekly FAB content.
- Participate in the weekly Community Gatherings.
- Use my God-given creativity to bless the Fab Church community.
- Welcome Guests, offering online hospitality to help them feel accepted by Christ.
- Journey with fellow Members in a spirit of openness, honesty, and integrity.
- Maintain all FAB Church’s online spaces as safe and confidential places for all.
and then
