Fab News
Happy Sunday Fabbers!
Hello Fabbers!
We hope you’ve had a positive week wherever you are and whatever you’ve been doing.
This week, Helen and I have been doing our best to help support FAB Guests and Members, and engaging with online pastoral ministry, particularly for those struggling with their sexuality. We very much appreciate your prayers and support in this important work.
So, what’s new?
Supporting FAB
You can now DONATE to FAB through Paypal and help support the mission and ministry of FAB through a one-off payment or regular tithe. 10% of your giving goes directly into our Discretionary Fund. You can also pay directly into our Discretionary Fund which we use to support FAB Guests and Members in need. Right now this fund is a little in deficit so any donations very welcome. We are looking at other ways you can support this ministry, and you can find more details here.
New Search Facility
You will notice that the old magnifying glass search icon on FAB has been replaced with a compass. We are aware that there is a mine of resources on FAB but that they can be difficult to find, and so we are in the process of making this easier. We are creating a References section where you can look up content based on topic, people, places, seasons, and by Bible book or verse reference. It’s a work in progress but you can check it out here.
Today’s Insight
https://fab.church/insights/sunday-19th-october-2025/
Today’s Insight and podcast is called ‘How do we remain resilient?’ and you can read or listen to the podcast on FAB or on your favourite podcasting platform (as long as it’s Spotify, Apple, or Amazon) — the buttons are at the top of the page.
Today’s Worship
https://fab.church/gathering/dont-give-up/
The theme of today’s worship is ‘Don’t give up’ and if you’d rather hear today’s Insight in person, join us at 5pm UTC for our online ZOOM gathering. All Guests and Members are welcome, and you can join and keep your mic and video turned off if you’d rather not be seen or heard (this is the same thing as sneaking in the back and sitting on the rear pew)!
Membership
https://fab.church/membership/
A reminder to all our Guests that if you have been engaging with FAB for a while you might like to consider officially join FAB Church as a member. To do this you need to agree to some Community Promises which you can read here.
Sending you all heaps of love and peace in Christ.
Be fabulous to everyone!
