The FAB Church Discretionary Fund

Hi Everyone

A quick update about our Discretionary Fund.

The Discretionary Fund is money we use, at our discretion, to support those in need. Currently the need is slightly greater than we have in funds however, over time, we hope this fund will increase. As you know, our long-term vision is to have a FAB Retreat where we can offer respite to those in need.

When you use the Donate button on FAB you will now see two options on a dropdown menu — the default option is to support the Mission and Ministry of FAB (our ongoing costs), and the second option is to give directly to our Discretionary Fund. 10% of all Mission and Ministry funds go directly into our Discretionary Fund, but by using the second option you can give a one-off or regular sum to directly support those in need.
