This week on FAB…

Hello Fabbers!

On Sunday we held our second worship gathering. Thank you to all those that popped into ZOOM to join us! Rev Marie suggested we display the words on the screen rather than follow online and I concur and will endeavour to do this next time! Do check out our upcoming Gatherings and join us for the next one. It’d be great to get some feedback. Currently we have scheduled one Worship gathering and one Social gathering per month. Too much? Too little? Let us know!

Last week I was very low and down, with little motivation or energy. I’m not sure what triggered or caused it but did not feel ‘myself’ and felt unwell mentally and physically for the whole week. My heart goes out to those struggling with ongoing depression, it must be so frustrating and debilitating. This week I’m doing much better.

Of course last week was a very difficult week for many people, especially for marginalised groups and individuals in the US. My insight touches on these themes and you can read or listen to ‘How can I be brave?’ here:

Our weekly Devotional based on Luke 5:1-3 explores the topic of  ‘Communication’ and how we communicate God’s message of love, peace, and reconciliation. You can engage with it here:

As well as weekly content we have launched a short daily Bible Reading, Reflection, and Prayer called Daily Bread. These are posted at the top of the homepage every day. If you click on the Daily Bread title you can view past content — ideal if you’ve missed a day!

I’ve done some more bits and pieces on the community platform, mostly thanks to your feedback! For example, if you go to a guest or member only link and are not logged in, you will now see a friendly page rather than a 404 or ‘not found’ page. Cool eh?

I hope and pray you have a blessed week.

All my love in Christ

Gavin
