Mental Health
Everyone has a mental health. Everyone. You, me, all of us. The truth is that if you have a brain then you have a mental health, and mental health issues are a continuum — as varied and unique as physical health issues.
Maya Angelou, poet and civil rights activist wrote, “Each one of us has lived through some devastation, some loneliness, some weather superstorm or spiritual superstorm. When we look at each other we must say, I understand. I understand how you feel because I have been there myself. We must support each other and empathise with each other because each of us is more alike than we are unalike.”
Today, if you are struggling, there are lots of resources on Fab and perhaps the following Insights and Devotions may be helpful; however, the best thing you can do is reach out and share so we can be there for you and support you with love and prayer.
How can we have strength and dignity — Strength and Dignity are two virtues that the Christian can possess, but how do we go about getting them?
Confidence — It is when we come to the end of ourselves that God can begin.
What happens when we let go? — It can sometimes take a devastating crisis to get us to a point where we have a revelation of God’s love, but even then, there is still hope.
